Our lives turned upside down in January 2025 when Raff was diagnosed with T-cell ALL.  Raff coped admirably as he started his 2 year treatment journey, still being a big part of family life, going to school and his sports clubs when possible.  He died unexpectedly in May 2025. 

We are so thankful for the 10 happy years we were blessed with. The pain is deep but we know that Raff's courage and positivity will always inspire us. 

As we say as a family, 'fear lies'.... sometimes the only thing holding us back in life is fear. When something feels daunting and the nerves kick in... give it a go, and if you enjoy it, don’t worry about being the best — just enjoy being part of it.

Raff was always great at that.

We are thankful to so many family and friends who have supported this fund by donating and/or challenging themselves with various activities.  Through our experience we know how much help Young Lives vs Cancer is to many in such dark times. Hospitals are amazing but they can only do so much and Young Lives vs Cancer relieve the pressure and provide in a wide variety of ways.
