Aaron's Story
Aaron, from Ardstaw, Co. Tyrone, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September 2025. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment in Belfast City Hospital, facing everything that comes with a cancer diagnosis with incredible strength and courage.
Aaron is someone who loves his rugby, the kind of lad that gives everything on the pitch, and that same determination has shone through in how he has approached his treatment. He has shown an incredible resilience, and has been an inspiration to those around him.
Living over 80 miles from Belfast, the journey hasn't just been his - it's been one for his whole family. During this time, Amy's House has provided a "Home from Home", giving Aaron's parents and family a place of comfort, rest and support while staying close to him through treatment. It's been a small but vital piece of normality in a time when life can be anything but. This fund has been created to honour the incredible support and fundraising already carried out in Aaron's name, and to provide a place for anyone who would like to continue supporting Young Lives vs Cancer in his honour.
Every contribution will help ensure that other young people and families, just like Aaron's, can access the care, support and "Home from Home", that makes this tough journey just a little bit more manageable.
